BEIJING (Reuters) -World number six Coco Gauff dominated unseeded Czech Karolina Muchova to win the China Open final 6-1 6-3 on Sunday and become the first player to win each of their first seven WTA hardcourt finals in the Open Era.

With her 6-1, 6-3 victory over Karolina Muchova on Sunday, the world No. 6 captured the China Open title, her first title since winning Auckland back in January. Gauff won the title despite dropping the opening set in her first five matches.

Coco Gauff won her second title this season with a lopsided 6-1, 6-3 victory over Karolina Muchova in the final of the China Open on Sunday. The sixth-ranked Gauff, 20, became the youngest China Open champion in 14 years.
