A man was seriously injured after a shooting near the Memphis International Airport on Saturday afternoon, police said.

Two women are in critical condition after getting shot at a large gathering on Thursday, Memphis Police say. At approximately 9:27 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call at Mississippi Boulevard and Gaither Street regarding multiple individuals fighting and shooting different caliber weapons.

A man is in critical condition after a shooting in South Memphis on Saturday afternoon, the Memphis Police Department said.

The Memphis Police Department (MPD) reports that preliminary information indicates both shootings happened at the same location.

A man was left severely injured after being stabbed in South Memphis Friday morning. A little after 9 a.m., officers responded to a wounding call in the 700 block of Neptune Street where a man was found suffering from a stab wound.

A woman told investigators that she was having a BBQ at the home on Gaither Street when "she heard a large gathering of people yelling, and then heard multiple gunshots."
